But as viewers tuned in to today's Monday, July 19 show, Lorraine wasn't on their screens. Lorraine will not be presenting today's show as she normally does five mornings a week. In fact, she isn't going to be around for more than a month as she is taking a break. There is no need to worry though as Lorraine does this every year, stepping back from the show for a summer hiatus.

She said goodbye to her fans on Friday, July 16, before heading off for some well-deserved rest. I know you're going off on a break now. She left the studio a week later than This Morning co-stars Holly Willoughby and Philip Schofield who have already started their break. Lorraine will be away from her morning show for the next few weeks. It is believed that the presenter will be returning to host the show in September.
